Optimus products are guaranteed to last a decade, the industry's longest warranty by far. Really, with proper use, our products will last a lifetime.

That said, Optimus products aren't made to be abused. Even the toughest products will scratch. So please handle with care.

COVERED:

MANUFACTURING DEFECTS: If one of our products made it through QC with some defect or problem, we'll replace it instantly! No questions asked. We're located right here in the USA, so shipping is fast.
GPU BLOCK NICKEL TO CERAMIC UPGRADE: For older GPU blocks with nickel plating, if there is a problem, we will upgrade the block to our new ceramic Cerakote finish at no cost.
COLD PLATES: Did our Pro-XE nickel finish corrode? Unlikely, but if it does, we'll replace it immediately.
CRACKED ACRYLIC: Our cast acrylic is extremely strong and impervious to cracks in normal use. This means if spiderweb cracks appear around ports or threads or you have a major crack somewhere on a tube or block, we'll replace it instantly. It's incredibly unlikely this will happen (we've never seen it), but anything is possible.
H2O/DISTILLED/TAP: Yes, use our blocks and fittings with regular water, distilled recommended. Of course, we can't cover minerals in water clogging up fins or calcium collecting on surfaces.
COOLANTS: Our products are made to withstand harsh chemicals, including fluids with abrasives that strip other nickel finishes like Primochill Vue, Mayhems Aurora and others. If you do use an unusual fluid and notice any issues, please contact us so we can research what those fluid mixologists are up to now.
ANTI-FUNGALS: All Optimus products are safe for copper sulfate, a common anti-fungal, found in versions of PT Nuke and other additives on the market. Copper sulfate in distilled water is a common high performance coolant free of anti-corrosives that lower thermal conductivity.

NOT COVERED:

DISCOLORATION: Discoloration is normal and there are a number of reasons this can happen. Cosmetic changes are not covered by a warranty. Color changes or staining can be due to oxidization, fluids or thermal compounds. Our Pro-XE electroless nickel will have some ghosting with certain liquids and temperatures, that's the nature of its corrosion-proof qualities. Copper will oxidize quickly in air. Liquid metal will discolor or tarnish copper instantly and stain nickel finishes.
METAL SCRATCHES: Every material can be scratched. Use care when handling products to keep the finish perfect. Use microfiber cloths to clean Optimus products, especially the cold plates. Our cold plates are micron-finished and copper is a naturally soft material. The good news: scratches are almost always cosmetic only and won't cause performance loss.
ACRYLIC/ACETAL SCRATCHES: While our cast acrylic is extremely crack resistant, any product can be scratched. Handle with care to avoid imperfections and keep the glass-like quality perfect. Acetal is a naturally soft material and scratches easily though has other properties making it useful for professional use.
WATER DAMAGE: It goes without saying that liquid cooling has risks. Optimus is not responsible for leaks or damage to PC components or other liquid cooling components in a PC. Like always, use our products at your own risk.
ACRYLIC MISUSE: While our cast acrylic is incredibly strong, any material can be broken. Don't try to shoot through our acrylic blocks or smash our tubes with hammers. Yes, they might survive but the warranty won't.
EPDM O-RINGS: Our o-rings are industrial grade and made for a lifetime of use. But any rubber can be cut or pinched by assembling blocks. If it's a mistake, we'll happily set you up with replacements.
CPU/GPU MELTDOWNS: Going for big overclocks? Taking off that safety belt? Go crazy, but we can't cover your CPUs if they get nuked.
CPU/GPU OVER TIGHTENING: Like all CPU and GPU coolers, make sure not to over tighten. Different generations of Intel and AMD CPUs have different tolerances for pressure. Meaning, if you tighten too much, the PCB can warp or crack. Additionally, your motherboard may crack as well. This holds true for Optimus and every cooler on the market, use at your own risk.
D5 PUMPS: Our D5 pumps are made by Xylem and covered under their 50,000 hour warranty.
EXTREME FLUIDS AND COOLANTS: Our electroless nickel and cast acrylic is incredibly strong and resistant to chemicals. But extreme acidity or alkalinity will destroy nearly anything. Before using atypical coolants, check with us or be aware our product won't survive everything on the planet.
GENERAL ABUSE: Treat Optimus products with care and they'll last a lifetime. But abuse or incorrect usage cannot be covered. For example, forcing screws into threads, over tightening thumb screws or modding products.
